Seyi Fadamiro MBA, CRE
Seyi Fadamiro started the Bamiwo Foundation with the mission to impact positive change in honor of his late grandmother, Deaconess Esther Oluwabamiwo Fadamiro, a champion for education in her community. Mr. Fadamiro is an accomplished Engineer, Businessman, Inventor, with passion for positive community activism. Mr. Fadamiro believes Perpetual optimism has a multiplier effect on community empowerment in Africa, and worldwide.

Vice Chairman
Olu Ajala PE, MBA
Olu is the founder and CEO of Ashipa Electric, an energy company that deploys renewable-based microgrids to help homeowners and businesses reduce energy costs, thereby stimulating economic activity and poised to positively impact millions of lives. He has 17 years of experience in the energy sector, ranging from oil and gas to electric utilities and renewables. He has also worked at leading energy companies like ExxonMobil, Chevron, Entergy, and Southern Company. Olu has implemented the power purchase agreements [PPA] for 280MW of solar power projects and has managed the financial, contractual, and commercial operation activities for solar and wind projects with an estimated annual revenue of $90 million. At Ashipa Electric, Olu is not only leading his team to mitigate today’s energy deficit globally, but also charting the path to a distributed, decarbonized, digitized and equitable energy future. On the path to stimulating economic activity, Olu is also the Founder of Ajayi Solutions, a micro-investment firm with an objective to develop economies across Africa by investing in tech-enabled startups with global ambitions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University

Mrs. Omoposola Adesegha
Omoposola Adesegha is an IT professional focused on project management. 'Posola studied in the United Kingdom and the United States and graduated with B.Sc. in Nursing and Applied Management, respectively. She has spent decades helping the top Fortune 500 companies develop and deliver software, increments, and products in the United States and across the Globe. Her track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment earned her the Technology Rising Star, the Women of Color Stem Awards in the United States in 2022.
Posola has voluntarily served in a nonprofit organization that consistently and successfully promotes community spirit by providing for those in need and feeding the Hungry at Christmas. Her strength and experience would greatly benefit the Bamiwo Foundation.

Dr. Henry Fadamiro
Prof. Henry Fadamiro co-founded the Bamiwo Foundation with his son Engineer Seyi Fadamiro, in honor of his late mother. Deaconess Esther Oluwabamiwo Fadamiro, who left a legacy as an ardent supporter and champion of education. Prof. Henry Fadamiro is currently a professor and associate vice president for research and strategic initiatives at Texas
A&M University, College Station, Texas. A world-class scholar and higher education administrator, Prof. Henry Fadamiro has studied or worked at several universities in three continents: Africa, Europe, and North America. He was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford and worked to develop international collaborations with several institutions across the globe. A fellow of several professional societies, Prof. Henry Fadamiro has received over $20million in research grants and published over 200 scientific publications and articles. His research has resulted in patents and innovations, and he has mentored scores of graduate students from various parts of the world. Like his late mother, Prof. Henry Fadamiro is a champion of education. He is passionate about human and institutional capacity development and has established scholarship endowments at universities in Nigeria to recognize and reward academic excellence.

Executive Director
Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun
Igbekele Ajibefun is currently a Professor of Agricultural Economics at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He was a visiting Professor at Auburn University,
U.S.A. Professor Ajibefun is a competent and experienced Agricultural Economist, with a distinguished academic career in teaching, research, consultancy and university administration. Professor Ajibefun parades very rich academic and administrative portfolios. He was the Rector, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, 2010-2015), Vice
Chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (2015-2020). During his tenures as the Head of the two Higher Education Institutions in Nigeria, Professor Ajibefun engaged in massive and unprecedented academic and infrastructural development of the institutions. He also linked both institutions with foreign universities, especially in the U.S. through academic collaborations and partnerships. Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko and
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo were both ranked as the best state institutions in Nigeria during Professor Ajibefun’s tenure in 2014 and 2019 respectively.
Professor Ajibefun’s professional experiences and activities cut across institutions and organizations in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, United States of America, Germany, Australia
and Japan, working in different universities. He has consulted for different organizations, including the World Bank, United States Agency for International Development (USAID);
Department for International Development of United Kingdom (DFID); French Government; Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA); Ministry of Agriculture of Niger Republic; International Water Management Institute (IWMI); United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); among several others.
As an international scholar of repute, Professor Ajibefun has continued to make significant impact through training and capacity building and his research works have addressed important economic policy-relevant issues. His capacity building efforts have made significant positive impact in the lives of several graduate students who passed through his supervision, many of whom currently occupy important positions today in different organizations.
