The Deaconess Esther OluwaBamiwo Fadamiro Scholarship Foundation, commonly referred to as the  “Bamiwo-Scholarship Foundation” is a non-profit organization founded in 2023. It is a scholarship-based foundation established in memory of our beloved grandmother, which the scholarship is named after.

The foundation mission lies upon the conviction that an educated society is vital to community development. The Scholarship Foundation aims to provide access to secondary and postsecondary education to students of local impoverished communities by providing financial assistance and mentorship.

Much like Deaconess Esther Fadamiro’s vision for education, the Bamiwo-Scholarship Foundation sees higher education as a catalyst, an agent of change for individuals, families, communities, and even nations.The scholarship foundation provides  "last-mile" assistance for high achieving students with a demonstrated financial need.

To support high achievement in local communities, The Bamiwo-Scholarship Foundation will:

 

• Promote and provide financial support for secondary and postsecondary education.

• Assure that students have the information necessary to make sound financial decisions related to their Education.

• Lead a collaborative network of community and educational partners aligned to support student preparation, transition, community service, and dedication to secondary education completion.

• To those who share its vision, the Bamiwo-Scholarship Foundation offers opportunities to participate through financial, fundraising, like-in-kind support, and volunteerism.

• The Foundation supports effective public policy through advocacy for its vision of post-secondary educational opportunity without financial hinderance.
